Zeynep Boğa
Born in Fethiye in 1982, Ms. BOĞA graduated from Hacettepe University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Business Administration in 2004.
In 2012, she earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from UC Berkeley in the USA. Ms. Zeynep BOĞA began her professional career in 2004 at the Department of International Capital Markets within the Directorate General of Foreign Economic Relations of the Ministry of Treasury and Finance of the Republic of Türkiye.
She subsequently served as Head of the International Capital Markets Department from 2014 to 2019.
In 2019, she was appointed Deputy Director General responsible for International Capital Markets within the newly established Directorate General of Debt Office in Istanbul under the Ministry.
During her tenure, she managed foreign-currency-denominated bond and sukuk issuance transactions across various markets to secure public financing and oversaw the country’s relations with international credit rating agencies and international portfolio investors.
During this period, the Türkiye Debt Management Office was honored with 'Best Sovereign Debt Office in Emerging Markets' awards by global financial publications such as GlobalCapital, International Financing Review, Euromoney, and EMEA Finance.
Ms. Zeynep BOĞA, who was also named 'Most Influential Sovereign Debt Office Manager in Emerging Markets' by similar publications, currently continues her duties as the Deputy Director General of the Debt Office at the Ministry of Treasury and Finance.
Additionally, she has been serving as a Board Member of the Development and Investment Bank of Türkiye since August 2023.
