Our Bank’s Ethics Commission

Pursuant to Article 29 of the “Regulation on the Principles of Ethical Conduct for Public Officials and the Application Procedures and Principles,” which was prepared on the basis of Articles 3 and 7 of Law No. 5176 dated 25 May 2004 on the Establishment of the Council of Ethics for Public Officials and Amendments to Certain Laws, and which entered into force upon its publication in the Official Gazette No. 25785 dated 13 April 2005, an Ethics Committee has been established within our Bank.

The Committee is responsible for developing the Bank’s ethical practices and culture, evaluating ethical practices, increasing internal awareness, and providing advice and guidance on issues encountered in relation to the principles of ethical conduct.

The Ethics Committee consists of the General Manager, the Executive Vice President responsible for Human Resources, the Head of the Board of Inspectors, the Head of the Human Resources Department, the Head of the Strategy, Organization and Process Management Department, and the Head of the Internal Control and Compliance Department.

Commission Members:

  • NURİ YASİN KÜLAHÇI: Executive Vice President | Strategy, Organization, Financial Affairs, Budget and Cost Management, Support Services
  • KAAN RAMAZAN ÇAKALI: Head of the Board of Inspectors
  • BAŞAK ERGÜL: Head of the Human Resources Department
  • BURHAN SERHAN PEKER: Head of the Internal Control and Compliance Department

Our Bank has established an Ethics Reporting Line to ensure that suspected violations of the Principles of Ethical Conduct are duly considered. If the Bank’s stakeholders identify any conduct that may be contrary to ethical principles, they may submit a report by email to ihbar@kalkinma.com.tr.
