Stating that food security is one of the critical areas alongside energy, technology and transport, and that the Bank carries out work in this field, TKYB CEO İbrahim Öztop said: “The TRY 250 million sukuk issuance we completed is an important development not only financially, but also for Türkiye’s food security and the sustainability of its supply chain. Increasing the capacity to purchase, procure and sell food products is vital for our society. Meeting operational needs such as transport and storage ensures that the supply chain functions reliably and efficiently. Current global conditions have made the food supply chain more important than ever. As a Bank, we are pleased to contribute to this area.”
