Development and Investment Bank of Türkiye Completes Tarım Kredi Tedarik ve Üretim Sukuk Issuance

Within the scope of its investment banking activities, Development and Investment Bank of Türkiye completed a TRY 150 million, 178-day sukuk (lease certificate) issuance for Tarım Kredi Tedarik ve Üretim, one of Türkiye’s most important agricultural institutions.

Continuing its work without slowing down in line with Türkiye’s sustainable development objectives, Development and Investment Bank of Türkiye completed, with Ziraat Yatırım acting as sales intermediary, a TRY 150 million, 178-day sukuk issuance for which Tarım Kredi Tedarik ve Üretim, one of Türkiye’s most important agricultural institutions, was the fund user.

Emphasising that the sukuk issuance was important for accelerating agricultural investment in Türkiye, TKYB CEO İbrahim Öztop said: “Our aim is to contribute to sustainable development by supporting agriculture, one of our country’s primary sources of livelihood. We carry out projects to meet the financial needs of our farmers and agricultural enterprises, expand the use of modern agricultural technologies and increase productivity. We will continue our efforts to support every stage of agricultural production, provide producers with financing on suitable terms and support the sector’s sustainable growth.”
