COMCEC Projects Grant Program

COMCEC Projects Grant Program

COMCEC Project Funding (CPF) is a financing mechanism launched by the COMCEC Coordination Office (CCO) in 2013 to support institutional capacity building in the Member Countries of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). Under this mechanism, grants are provided through annual funding programmes for projects that contribute to the economic and social development of OIC Member Countries.

COMCEC Projects Grant Program

Under COMCEC Project Funding (CPF), a financing mechanism launched by the COMCEC Coordination Office (CCO) in 2013, grant support is provided through annual funding programmes aimed at strengthening institutional capacity in the Member States of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).

Relevant OIC institutions operating in the field of economic and commercial cooperation, as well as public institutions of COMCEC Member States participating in the relevant Working Group, may submit project applications. Projects may be designed in one of seven cooperation areas—Financial Cooperation, Agriculture, Trade, Tourism, Transport and Communications, Poverty Alleviation, and Digital Transformation—in line with the sectoral themes adopted and published on the COMCEC Coordination Office’s website.

Cooperation between the Development and Investment Bank of Türkiye Inc. and the Directorate General for COMCEC and International Development Cooperation under the Presidency of Strategy and Budget of the Republic of Türkiye (COMCEC Coordination Office) for the implementation of COMCEC Project Funding has continued since 2014. Under the Cooperation Protocol, financial support is provided to projects evaluated and approved by the COMCEC Coordination Office.

Our Bank implements the COMCEC Project Funding Programmes jointly with the COMCEC Coordination Office and is responsible for signing agreements as the contracting authority, transferring funds, and monitoring projects throughout the implementation process.
