Social Media Fraud
Malicious actors frequently exploit social media and other communication platforms to carry out fraudulent campaigns, using forged profiles or compromised legitimate accounts to victimize individuals.
- Disregard any fraudulent campaigns disseminated across social media and communication channels that improperly utilize our Bank's title and corporate logo.
- Refrain from clicking on promotional advertisements and disclosing any personal or sensitive information through these links.
- Do not respond if you are contacted through fraudulent social media accounts impersonating members of your family, friends, or acquaintances.
- Malicious individuals may employ numerous deceptive tactics to obtain confidential credentials—such as your payment card details, identity information, internet/mobile banking usernames and passwords, and single-use SMS transaction approval codes. Under no circumstances will our Bank request such sensitive information from customers, either verbally or in writing.
